Grace arrived in the DC Metro Area following
an overflow of surrendered dogs in West
Virginia's shelter system.  Her story is
stereotypical of American shelter dogs
everywhere: her previous family could not take
her to their new home.  Grace is anything but
stereotypical.  Grace is an all American mutt,
part old soul, protector and did we mention
she's missing a part?  Tripod.  But don't let that
fool you, she insists she's more streamlined for
speed at the dog park!  Grace loves most in
life: going "ride along to the dog park", beef
marrow bones, digging holes, spinning circles,
and the wonderful staff and volunteers at The
Animal Welfare League of Alexandria, who
provided her temporary domicile while she
waited for her new life with Terry and Loyalty
to begin.
