The PetTech® Pet CPR, First Aid & Care™
PetTech's® Pet CPR, First Aid & Care™ class is designed to embed in you all of the core skills required in any
emergency situation involving the pets in your life.  You will master CPR, First Aid and Care through multi-
layered, proven learning techniques of visual and verbal instruction and repetition - we build confidence! Our
PetTech® CPR, First Aid & Care classes are designed for students of all skills and abilities.  Both professional
pet care personnel and the average pet guardian will find them invaluable.  Please leave your pets at home.  
Appropriate for ages 12 and up.  Two Year Pet Tech® Pet First Aid & CPR™ Registration, a Pet Tech Safety
Muzzle & the PetSaver™ Handbook is included in the cost of class.  You will receive a certificate of training
completion at the close of class.  To register, select the class of your choice from the list below and provide
payment in full to secure your space.











Safety Furst™ ParkPro™ Workshop
This 2HR session provides participants with a foundation in three essential canine behavior concepts that will
enable you to walk into and out of the dog park in a more timely manner to avoid conflict before it happens;
how to select appropriate park environments & design layouts & create environmental self-awareness for
safety; finishing off with all you need to know if the worst does happen - P.E.T.A.I.D. and the PetTech®
Bleeding Demo plus useful resources in how to build and use your own pet first aid kit and locate the nearest
open veterinary facility and potential alternatives. We finish this session off with Q&A to solidify in you a
foundation in the SPIRIT of the code, regulations, and MISSION of public dog parks!  Currently this class is
only developed for Arlington County.  Should you wish to tailor this class to your community's dog park

Loyalty® DIY Safety Furst™ Aid Kit Workshop
This 1HR session provides participants with an easy step-by-step view into our professional pet sitting and
dog walking first aid kits, along with a step-by-step guide on how to effectively create your own at minimal
cost and maximum efficiency.  Appropriate for pet parents and pet professionals alike, the information taught
and shared here can also be creatively applied in workshops to raise funds for your rescue group or other
charity occasion.  To register for a public class, select the class of your                 
Registration & Cancellations
Registration
Continuous until the class fills, early registration is suggested; all sessions are 10 person classes unless
otherwise noted.  Please click the "Register Now" links associated with the class you wish to take.  Upon
successful payment, you will receive confirmation of your registration, and directions to the site. Registration
typically closes when the class fills.  If the link is present the class has not filled.  

Cancellations
Payment is required in advance and may be used for credit one-time in the event you need to reschedule your
class for any reason.  To qualify for this one-time credit, you must notify the instructor by 4PM the day prior
to your session, and you must reschedule your session in an alternative publicly offered class within three
consecutive sessions from the date of the cancellation.  If you fail to attend and do not notify the instructor in
advance, your fee is not refunded or credited.  You will receive a full credit if class is cancelled by Safety Furst™
for any reason, to be used at another session within twelve months.

Weather Policy
If OPM is closed due to inclement weather, class will be cancelled, and you will be notified of the make-up date
for your class. Notifications of inclement weather cancellations will be made via the e-mail address you provide
during registration and it is your responsibility to periodically check for status or call us at 703.679.7297.
