In 2007, Terry traded in the trowel & shovel of her former cultural
resources career for the leash & harness (and cat dancer). A Northern
Virginia native, Terry spent her childhood, accompanied by her dog,
exploring the woods around the Occoquan Reservoir. Earning a
Bachelors in Anthropology from VCU in 1994, Terry went on to
perform archaeological field work for a variety of cultural resources
consulting firms throughout North America and the Caribbean. In
1998 she settled in to work for a large Environmental Engineering
company for DoD and US EPA clients. During this time Terry
strengthened her professional development under the guidance of
many amazing environmental scientists and managers. She learned
the value of environmental and civic stewardship along the way.
At Loyalty, Terry is committed to the well-being of her clients and
their companions; the professional growth, dedication and happiness
of Loyalty's people; and the fostering of community service wherever
she can. Her specialties within the business itself are best seen
when working with special needs and handicapped pets and through
creative entrepreneurial outlets. When not focused on Loyalty, Terry
shares her life with her dog Grace and takes lots of photographs of
the people, places and things that she loves.
