Classes
| Be-A-Tree™ - A www.doggonesafe.com Program $10 per parent/child team donation to ArlingtonDogs; TBD The Be a Tree™ Program is an interactive presentation for children that teaches them how to manage themselves safely around dogs by interpreting dog body language and exhibiting dog-friendly body language in response. The program is administered by Doggone Safe, a non- profit organization dedicated to dog bite prevention through education, and dog bite victim support. The program is supported by a Teacher Kit produced by Doggone Crazy!™ that contains photos and games to teach kids how to "Be a Tree" and act safely around dogs. The Be a Tree™ program is available across North America and around the world. Approximately 500,000 children have benefited from the lessons learned in this program. The Be a Tree™ program is the only dog bite prevention program to have received the support of major professional organizations. The Ontario Veterinary Medical Association, the Canadian Association of Animal Health Technologists and Technicians, the Saskatchewan Association of Veterinary Technologists, the Saskatchewan Veterinary Medical Association and the Ontario Association of Veterinary Technicians support the Be a Tree™ program. an urban professional dog walker training course - perfect for businesses and sole proprietors alike. Safety Furst™ CCA Certification (in development)
combines the PetSaver™ Pet First Aid course with essential canine body language, management, prevention training in addition to a sound foundation
in the spirit of the code & regulations of Arlington County's Community Canine Areas! There is something for everyone trying to thrive with pets in our
increasingly urban environment!
